Renault India Pvt Ltd launched its 5th vehicle model, the Renault SCALA, a premium A3 segment sedan here in the Bhubaneswar market on Wednesday.
It will be available in five colours — white, solid black, metallic silver, metallic blue, metallic red — now in the Odisha market. The model is priced between a range of `7,13,189 and `9,78,516 in petrol and diesel variations.
“The SCALA offers the best in class comfort, elegance, fuel efficiency and premium luxury at an affordable price which will definitely meet our customers’ aspirations, “said VP, public affairs & communications, Renault India Rajiv Mitra.
The SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options with a host of state-of-art inbuilt safety features like dual airbags for the driver and passenger, anti-pinch power window, front fog lamp and speed sensing auto door lock, et al.
The company is optimistic to push up its sale, notwithstanding the worrying trend of fuel price hike. “We are hopeful to supply 3,000 SCALAs this year. Right now, we have around 1,700 Renault customers. We will also expand our dealership network in Odisha and other states,” Rajiv Mitra, VP, public affairs and communication, said at the post-launch ceremony.
“Powered by Renault’s most successful new generation 1.5 dCi (K9K) engine, SCALA will stand for Renault’s iconic image of bringing comfort, convenience, styling, safety and technology, all in one power packed offering with smart pricing,” Mitra said.
