She is a student of MSc Biotech and also Playback singer in Oriya film industry. She likes teasing people. She says she has an emotional, childish nature. Her family consists of her parents. Father is an assistant headmaster and both parents are singers (they are radio and TV artists). She is the youngest in her extended family, so she is quite pampered. Sohini Mishra started singing from the age of 5, learning classical since she was 8 years old. Parents are supportive, but her dad says that studying comes first. She is not great with studies, but her dad is mostly content. She is also a painter and likes gardening.
Favourite actor: Hrithik Roshan.
Favourite film: Koi Mil Gaya, she loves the alien character, Jadoo.
Favourite judge: Anu Malik, because he is straightforward, and correct in what he says.
Idol: Abdul Kalam, Bcoz he’s simple, was a scientist, and is sincere.
Her idol is also her Father because he is a very good problem solver. She likes pet guinea pigs, but her father didnt let her keep one.
