Utkal University Degree Result 2012 declared
Commerce honours students stole the show as the results of degree colleges affiliated to Utkal University were published on May 30. With a pass rate of 90 per cent, these students have outshone their counterparts in other streams.
However, this year’s results for commerce honours have fallen by three per cent from last year. Similarly, the arts honours students have disappointed with a pass percentage of 86, dipping from 90.3 per cent in 2011.
Students with science honours, with an aggregate of 86 per cent, have bettered their seniors’ record by nearly nine per cent.
This year, success rate is 74 per cent for arts, 68 per cent in science and 72 per cent in commerce. Of the 17,56 candidates who appeared for the pass subjects, 12,90 were successful.
