Per Capita Income of Orissa for 2010-11 is Rs 36,923

Per Capita Income of Orissa people increased 112.44 % in 2010-11. In 2004-05 statistics, it was calculated as 17,380 Rupees. Now in 2010-11, it is calculated as Rs 36,923 . After such a hike in income, now Orissa is below the National Per Capita Income which is Rs 54,835 for 2010-2011.

The report presented by Minister Srikant Jena in Lok Sabha states that there is a 120% rise in per capita income of India from 2004-05, which was Rs 24,143 at that time. Delhi, Chandigarh, Pondicherry and  Haryana are the states whose per capita income increased more than other states as Rs 1,35,814 PCI of Delhi (top), Rs 1,28,634 of Chandigarh and Rs 98,719 for Pondicherry.
