+2 Chemistry exam rescheduled

After cancellation of the Physics examination yesterday, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) authorities were forced to cancel the Chemistry test too on Friday as the latter paper met a similar fate like the Physics.

This exam paper rescheduled for March 30 instead of March 26. This was informed by the Higher Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra in a press statement. Patra has also asked the director of Higher Education to carry out an internal probe into the question paper leak case.

On Thursday, the Council authorities cancelled the Physics exam as the question paper was published in a vernacular daily before commencement of the exam. However it’s not yet clear how the Chemistry question paper got leaked.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik ordered a Crime Branch probe into the Physics question paper leak case after the issue rocked the Assembly yesterday. Congress leader Prasad Harichandan too raised question on a full-proof examination system.
