Air India Bhubaneswar to Varanasi flight from November 8

Air India will start flight service between Bhubaneswar and Varanasi from November 8 (Sunday).

According to sources, the flight will operate four times a week. The service will be available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The duration of the flight will be 90 minutes.

The flight will depart from Varanasi at 12:30 PM and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 2:00 PM. On its return journey, it will depart from Bhubaneswar at 2:45 PM and will reach Varanasi at 4:15 PM.

Fares will start from Rs 3,500.

Airport director Sharad Kumar said Air India authorities had informed the Airports Authority of India on October 30 about the new flight to Varanasi and submitted their winter schedule for the new route.

Air India station manager Tapas Ray said: “The aircraft to be engaged in this sector will be of Airbus 319 type, which had 122 seats. The flight will act as a cultural bridge between the two state. It will be of immense help to tourists who are interested in Buddhist sites, both of Odisha and Bihar.

With this flight, air connectivity is now established between Bhubaneswar and seven cities of the country by flight operators Air India, Indigo, GoAir, and Air Vistara.
