This Odia adaptation of the most popular song of Suman Chattopadhyay (Kabir Suman), “Tomake Chai” (HMV: 1992) is a musical tribute to him and his connection with Odisha (especially Cuttack, his birthplace) and the Oriya language (which he picked up and uttered first before learning Bengali).
