3D tourist map of Odisha at Bhubaneswar Airport video

A 3D tourist map of Odisha containing informations about major tourist destinations in the state was unveiled at Biju Patnaik International Airport on Friday.

Unveiling the map, state Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda said the map would serve as an eye opener for air travellers and tourists, who can have a synoptic view of Odisha’s flora, fauna and tourism spots.

The 3D map of Odisha showcases tourist destinations like Jagannath Temple, Konark, Mukteswar Temple, wildlife sanctuaries, hill stations, beaches and backwaters.

Surprisingly, Lingaraj Temple, Khandagiri-Udaygiri twin caves, Kapilas and over 300 key spots are missing from the tourism map, raising many eyebrows.

Notably, a meager 20 destinations have found mention in the list among a long list of 341 serene tourist destinations across the state.

The unveiling of the map coincided with the golden jubilee celebrations of Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI) in Bhubaneswar.
