Electronics Manufacturing Cluster at InfoValley, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday laid the foundation stone of Electronics Manufacturing Cluster at InfoValley in Bhubaneswar.

The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) would come up at Janla under Jatni block. It will house processing units from Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector.

It will have state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities to not only serve global companies but also nurture homegrown entrepreneurs by offering incubation and other handholding support to them.

Investment opportunities to the tune of Rs 1000 Crore has been envisioned with potential for creation of 1 lakh direct and indirect employment.

Notably, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) was set up with IDCO as the chief promoter for easy and fast implementation of the project.

The state government pins hopes that these parks would turn “Make in Odisha” into a reality and chart a new era in Odisha’s growth history.
