Hrithik Roshan praises Odisha’s Ajay Bahadur Singh for this reason
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to laud the efforts of Ajay Bahadur Singh, the man behind a noble initiative in Odisha to mentor aspiring medicos from poor families.
A noble initiative in Odisha akin to famed Super 30 experiment of the mathematician Anand Kumar, is giving wings towards of humble vegetable sellers, fishermen and marginal farmers to crack the NEET exam and qualify for admission in medical colleges.
The benign effort has been made by a non-governmental organisation through the project “Zindagi”. The man behind it is Ajay Bahadur Singh, who had to leave his medical education and sell tea and sharbat (soft drinks) to sustain his family which was facing financial hardship.
Hrithik Roshan, who earned accolades for playing Anand Kumar in the recently released ‘Super 30’, tweeted: “What a fantastic initiative. Kudos to you, Ajay Bahadur Singh.”
Ajay Bahadur Singh, who had to give up his dream of becoming a doctor early in life and sell tea and sherbet to sustain his family, said “kind words” from different sections of the society have boosted his confidence.
