PM Narendra Modi likely to visit Odisha twice in January next year
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to visit Odisha on December 24, is most likely to visit the state again in January next year.
Sources in the BJP said that the Prime Minister is likely to attend a programme in Baripada on January 5 and later visit western Odisha on January 16.
During his one-day visit the State this month, Modi will lay foundation stone for Paradip Hyderabad Pipeline Product Project (PHPL) and Bokaro-Angul section of Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra Gas Pipeline Project (PM Urja Ganga).
As BJP eyes to make inroads into the eastern parts of the country, the saffron party’s Odisha unit president, Basant Panda expressed his confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will prove to be a trump card in party’s ‘look east’ strategy.
Besides the PM, BJP National President Amit Shah is also likely to visit Odisha in January next year. Another Odia girl debuts in Bollywood with movie ‘Zero’.
