Odia girl Chelsi Behura in Top 15 of Indian Idol 11 on Sony TV

Odia girl Chelsi Behura has made it to Indian Idol 11 on Sony TV. The 16-year-old girl is among the Top 15 contestants, who will now battle it out to be crowned the winner of the new season.

Chelsi enthralled judges- Anu Malik, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani in the audition round with her soulful performance. She sang ‘Main Pareshaan’ from the movie ‘Ishaqzaade’ and got Golden Ticket to the Theatre Round.

A resident of Sikharpur area in Cuttack, Chelsi has already proved her mettle in singing reality shows like Rising Star and Indian Idol Junior before.

She once again enthralled the judges and secured her place in the Top 15 after performing ‘Offo’ from the movie ‘2 States’.

The story of Chelsi is an inspiration to the youth, she lost her father when she was very young and from that time, she decided to become her mother’s backbone. She is her mother’s mother; right from shopping for her, teaching her social media, she always makes sure that her mother is getting the best from life.
