Odia girl Swati Mishra Miss Teen Global 2016 1st runner-up

Odisha girl Swati Mishra emerged as the 1st runner-up of the Glamourvilla Miss Teen Global 2016, held at the Bollywood Sea Queen Beach Resort in Goa from 4-8 May 2016.

The 17-year-old, hailing from Sunabeda in Koraput district of Odisha, also won the title of Miss Talented in one of the talent rounds of the beauty pageant where she herself choreographed a freestyle dance sequence that was well-appreciated by the judges and helped her score points.

“My parents have been really supportive throughout the course of event with the condition that I do not let fame come in the way of completing my education. I want to make a name for Odisha and India, in the long run,” said a very excited Swati Mishra.

She is a Plus Two (Science) second year student and wants to continue participating in such contests and earn a name for herself on a global platform as a beauty queen.

Abhishek Giri from Balasore won the Mr Global 2016 title organised by the same paegent association last month.
