Odisha girl slapped youth with chappal in public for misbehaving

In a rare show of courage, a young girl thrashed her molester with chappals in full public glare in the busy Badambadi area of Cuttack on Saturday.

The brave girl is seen slapping the youth on his face with her chappal while onlookers are enjoying the scene with some shooting the video of the incident on their mobile phone cameras.

The matter came to light after a video clip of the incident went viral on social media platform Facebook.

Reportedly, the girl who happened to be a local was allegedly groped by the youth in the crowded Badambadi area. The girl caught hold of the man and started beating him. She made him apologize in front of the public.

After the video went viral, Badambadi police have suo motu registered a case in the matter and have arrested the accused youth.
