Spoken Tutorial in 100 Odisha colleges developed by IIT Bombay

Students in 100 Government and aided degree colleges in Odisha will have access to Spoken Tutorial from the next academic session. The State Government has inked a pact with IIT-Bombay for the e-learning facility which will help improve the quality of education by leveraging the benefits of digital technology.

The Spoken Tutorial project will provide various free and open source softwares through small length audio and video tutorials. The students can learn the courses without any cost.

This is a platform where students can learn and master on various programming languages and software including C, C++, JAVA, JBA, Python, PHP & MySQL, LINUX, LibreOffice, BASH, Scilab, LaTeX, Drupal, Perl, Netbeans (approx. 45 programming languages and softwares are available to learn) without needing any expert teacher.

The course materials are available in 22 languages including Odia. Online test will be conducted once the training is over and the candidates will get a certificate which will help them get better employment opportunity.

Startup to Big MNCs all are started working on cutting edge technologies like Data science, Machine Learning, AI, Data analytics, Big Data etc. To enter into those fields, required extensive programming knowledge of Python, LibreOffice, C, C++ and those courses are available in Spoken Tutorial.
